- Kansas Supreme Court
- U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas

- U.S. Court of Military Appeals
Other Activities:
- Paul is currently chairman of the Sierra Club Topeka Group, and a member of the Sierra Club Kansas Chapter executive committee.
- Paul is the past president of the board of directors of Kansas Legal Services.
- Paul is currently a contributor to the Journal of the Kansas Trial Lawyers, writing a column on decisions of one of the Kansas workers compensation administrative law judges. He authored "Lawyer Marketing and Ethical Considerations," for the Journal of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, Vol. XVII, No. 4 (March 1994).
- Paul is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education seminars on various topics, including bankruptcy, family law, and workers compensation.
In the Topeka Community:
- Paul is a past president of the Greater Auburndale Neighborhood Association.
- A regular underwriter of performances at Topeka Civic Theater and Academy.
- A sponsor of the Kansas Silent Film Festival and the Sunflower Music Festival.
- The founder of the James P. Post Scholarship Fund at Pittsburgh State University, established in memory of his father.
He resides in central Topeka in a house built in 1880. One of Paul's hobbies is the ongoing restoration of that residence. Paul is the owner and sole shareholder of Paul D. Post, P.A., a professional association organized under the laws of the state of Kansas.
